Dinner tonight - Chicken wings (ok, little drumsticks), marinated in jerk seasoning and broiled. Mediocre. Carrots, Celery & Radishes with a little salt - excellent. Chianti :)

Talked to my Mom a bit on the phone tonight. Usually when we talk, it is for a pretty good amount of time. My Mom is the coolest woman I know. She's smart, funny, has fascinating opinions, and is great fun. I've never met anyone like her, actually - how lucky am I? My father is pretty cool too. We had a lot of difficulties when I was a teen, but Dad is one of the smartest people I've ever met. Truth be told, I really enjoy hanging out with my parents. Is this typical, after you've grown up?
