So I've pretty much finished "So That's What They're For!" - Janet Tamaro. It has a lot of good basic information, delivered in a humorous way, which I liked. I think it would make an excellent book for someone who hasn't decided wether or not to breastfeed. It gives an honest portrayal of formula vs. breastmilk. I also like the fact that it warns you it won't necessarily be easy at first. I think I expect it to come naturally (that's mammal think for you), and could see getting discouraged if it didn't happen that way. I now know not to get discouraged.
The Heating and Cooling guy came to check if the pressure stayed up for our coolant on the heat pump during the last month - it did, and he put in the coolant. So, we know have our heat pump back and air conditioning as well (I don't expect to use it for some time. Next we we're going to get the dryer venting out of the attic and vented outside through the wall. Yea! It looks like we'll have the ductwork in the attic re-done in the fall (where it needs to be done). We have been very lucky with our Heating & Cooling guy - very knowledgeable and very fair.
We are on our second week of Netflix - it's fantastic, what a great idea.
I saw the eye doctor this week, and my script has changed a little - one eye a little worse, one a little better. My pressure test (for Glaucoma) was on the high end, but the optic nerve looks good, so I just need to keep with yearly visits. I picked up my new glasses today and they make a world of difference. Not so much the prescription, but that fact that they are not completely scratched up.
I've done yoga the last 2 days. I'm trying to make an effort to do it every day and make it a habit.
Cooking. I made Senate Navy Bean soup last night w/ the Easter Ham Bone. Not bad, perhaps a little over garlic. Tonight pasta with bacon, ricotta & peas. Maybe some garlic bread...
