Not much to report. I can still fit into my pants, but I have a feeling I won't be able to say that at the end of the month. This past week I've been sleeping really well, although there have been a couple times Marc has heard me talking in my sleep. Just gibberish.
Sunday I resumed cleaning up the "garbage pile" down on one side of the yard. Paint cans that disintegrate when you pick them up, they are so rusted. I haven't encountered another possum, thank goodness.
I don't think I posted about that, but know I've told many. Story is, a couple of weekends ago I was starting on the garbage clean up (pile a crap the builder left behind very tall brush which we didn't discover until the night before closing). When we asked him about it, he told us to "just burn it". So I started dragging everything up to the burn pile, including large sheets of cardboard. I did consider burning the pile as is, until I found a bunch of aerosol included with the rest. So I'd slam down the metal rake to embed it into the cardboard, and drag it up. (It was too buggy to drag up with my hands). As I was pulling up a large piece, a possum came scurrying out of the pile. I dropped the rake and kinda freaked out - not sure what it would do. Then, when I got a safe distance away, I started thinking about "What if I _had_ just burned the pile - burning him alive?" and "What if I had punctured his skull with the metal rake?" - and really freaked out. I'm not proud - I cried and was essentially hysterical. I'm blaming it on the pregnancy hormones :)
Anyways, no possums this weekend. I didn't send too much time out there, as it's still cool, but there is plenty to do. I took some pics of the horses down the road. I pass them on the way to the mailbox.
LJ Note - My MT blog entries are now x-posted to my Live Journal. Don't expect anything too interesting :)
