We got a bunch of snow last night, but when I suggest to Liam to go out in it, he tells me "Too chilly". I am without boots, so I'm not pushing it!

My mom had the suggestion of making a felt board last night, so that is what we did today.





L is having fun putting different shapes together to make pictures. I can see eventually using it for counting things too. I think we'll try telling stories with it also.

It was very easy to make. I got a large piece of foam board and covered it with a small flannel (or you can use felt) blanket. I hot glued the edges to the back. I cut out various shapes with felt I had. Presto, fun toy!
