I have (had), so much "stuff". I still have a big bin I haven't touched. I cannot keep everything, but in this day of digital photography, I can keep pictures!
The London Quireboys

When I was a teen, I listened to Hair Metal. One day, a friend and I decided to hang out in the parking lot of a local club where we knew a band we liked was playing that night. We sat out by their tour bus and some hot, long haired guy on a white bike comes zooming past, with a back from Dunking Donuts. My friend recognized this as Nigel (Mogg), one of the bands members. He starts talking to a couple of (obvious) crew members, and goes aboard the bus. We're in her car, and one of the crew members approaches us to inquire about a Plus Machine. We offered him a ride and of course, asked if there was any way we could meet the band? We get back, and he tells us he'll see what he can do.
Waiting, we spot another long haired dude walking to the club from the nearby Budget Inn. We decide we need to act, and grabbing our only source of paper, an empty shoe box. We run over, while tearing up the box, and meet "Griff" (Guy Griffin) and get his autograph.
He gets the merchandise guy and we get t-shirts and the pictured album board for proper autographs. We also got a sampler cassette (!). I personally had the entire album on cassette, but was thrilled by this additional piece of anything band related.
He then told us we were welcome to hang out by the door to watch the sound check. Everyone in the band was there but the singer, Spike (who was my favorite at the time). We got guitar picks from Nigel and Griff. Chris (Johnstone) also came out to talk to us. They were all so funny and it was great to see them play some songs. We were too young to actually get in to see the show that night, but this was even better.

Thank goodness for YouTube:
