Yea, I taught him that...
Added a bunch of pictures to June 2008.
Yesterday M had to rip our the wooden porch coming off of the concrete porch because he stepped through a rotted board, discovering the rest of the boards were rotted as well.
The 4th was fun, we grilled and had toasted marshmallows, and went to a parade that morning. Big fun for L, a little odd for us. The main theme seemed to be children with bags scrambling for candy thrown from EVERY person in the parade. Fortunately, L was content on our shoulders, marveling at the fire engines, ambulance, corvettes and race cars. I haven't been to a parade since Chicago, where the Pride parade marched right down our street. We had a great view taking the screen out of our apartment's front window and sitting on the sill, or just pulling a chair up, depending on the intoxication level.
Our CSA share was delivered Thursday, they saved us a jar of honey from earlier weeks, as well has freezing a bunch of cherries for us. From this week we got a dozen eggs, 2 cucumbers, 2 zucchini, radishes, onions, fingerling potato, green beans, red leaf romaine and apricots! Everything is generous in size and quantity.
I've spied a second tomato on one of my plants. The recent rains knocked down a couple plants, so I caged them all yesterday.
