L's first movie theater experience:

We saw WallE, which was petty cute, and L was entranced the whole time (of course). He (another of course), loved having popcorn (our special Cedar Point treat this year, of which he never got enough).
We went to the local "pumpkin/fall fun" place. Did the Hayride, checked out these:

Hung out at the park, and on the beach:

This week I am trying out drying tomatoes. I have 6 lbs that I am oven drying and hope to store in the freezer (or maybe even out of).
I am still stressed but am attempting to temper it a bit with some sort of calmness and planning. My plan:
Pay off all debts. (There is a dilemma with a mortgage, I know).
Stock food for the winter.
Have 3 months living expenses available. Aggressively save money for what the future holds.
Live below our means and change the way we live as much as possible.
We don't know exactly what the future will hold, but it won't look the same as what we have been living, that is sure.
It should go without saying, but we in no way expect gifts for our darling child. I have a feeling we would all be best served by saving our money :)
Oh, and a few more shots in September 2008
We all love you!
