Yesterday was beautiful and we had fun hanging out at the park. Marc was out last night at a computer thing so L and I did popcorn and Muppet Shows on the couch.

I also made bread and a jar of Sweet German Style Mustard. I want to make pretzels to try the mustard with, maybe this weekend.

We got a book a few couple weeks ago that we have been reading nearly every night before bed, Around the World in 80 Tales. It has some familiar old stories (Billy Goat's Gruff, Princess and the Pea, Little Dutch Boy), and many more that were unfamiliar to me. It's neat how each story is from a different country.

As L was falling asleep last night he wanted to know if my Mom ever let me watched stuff when I was little. I was telling him how there were no DVDs or instant movies on computers back then. When I was his age we didn't have VHS or cable either. We talked about various things about when I was young and then I told him I had a dog when I was young. His name was PJ I told him. L thought that was really weird. He wanted to know "Why would you name a dog something you wear on your butt?!?"

He's a funny kid.
