It's been awhile since an update. Amazingly, it has only been a week since we've been back. The first thing L asked when he woke up for the first four days back was "Do you think my table legs came?" We left L's table legs in MI and had to wait for them. They came on Wednesday:



He couldn't be convinced to leave a place for himself.

I added some pictures to January 2009. Included are a couple of shots of the belly at 23 weeks.

L decided he wanted to wear the hat a bit this week:



The main reason I haven't updated is because I've been clearing out my backups, including posting archives of my old blogs from 2004 and 2005. My god we used to eat a lot of meat. I've also been adding old pictures to Flickr.

This weekend I picked up my first baby item, a Moby Wrap. I think I'm going to love it. I tested it out with L and it makes a huge difference on the shoulders compared to the ring sling.

Pregnancy wise I feel great. Big, but great. I'm really needing the body pillow and can no longer lean back in the bed to read the bedtime stories. L does not care for the body pillow. When I tell him I need to support my belly he tells me I can just use him for support.

L has been requesting chapters in Pippi Longstocking since we got home. We also got to borrow a copy of A Tale Despereaux. We've been doing one chapter a night that also, but he isn't into it yet. He'd like more pictures, although Pippi doesn't have many either. I think he'll like it. I'm into it more than Pippi so far.
