Last week I spent some time cleaning and organizing the zillions of rubbermaid containers we have, trying to throw things away. I didn't get much thrown away but did do a lot of labeling and organizing the art supplies in a more accessible place. We created "postcards" this weekend by making scenes on rectangle scraps and inserting stickers on them. L decided to paint today and tried 3 different kinds of paint. We also painted some craft sticks in preparation for a dinosaur he wants to make.
He also decided to get out his playdough and the new tools he got from Christmas. He has me laughing when I opened everything up. He said in an awestruck voice, "This is cool in the desert..." I have no idea where he came up with that.
I also got all of the newborn to 6 months clothes put in one place so they'd be easy to find and wash closer to may. I've taken out and washed my maternity clothes from last time and have them waiting in the closet, just in case we have some nice days this spring.
I have been having what I'm pretty sure now are braxton hicks contractions. I don't remember feeling these the first time around, although it's possible and I just chalked it up to some sort a movement. It's definitely a tightening of the uterus and an almost shortness of breath feeling. It's not painful at all.
The cats blood results were not fantastic from their vet visit. Both have elevations (although different ones). We need to get a "definitely Golde" stool sample in and Tevye needs further blood work. He's lost more weight than he should have and they're wondering if he may have a thyroid issue.
