One day we were talking about dogs, and eating them. I explained to L that in our culture, we didn't eat dogs. I've thought I've been pretty clear about what animals we have eaten though, but apparently not. I told him some people eat cows and he gave me this incredulous look and told me know. I insisted we did and he just couldn't believe me. I asked him why and he told me "The cows would run away".

This conversation happened some time ago. I haven't posted because it makes me sad.
