October is over already? I feel like I could have used a bit more Halloween. I really hate how all the stores have Christmas stock in. I hate how they had it in BEFORE Halloween. I feel like I have to spend the next month avoiding all the Christmas stuff, just so I'll be able to enjoy it come December. (Or Thanksgiving evening, more accurately.)

What an awesome idea for a cape! You just gave me a great idea! The kids want costume stuff for Christmas and I decided I'd make knight tunics, well I'll make knight tunic on one side (colour blocks) and do the other side in gold and silver fabric so they can be kings and queens as well as knights. I love that my girl at 10 still likes sword fighting and dressing up all the time. :-)

That sound awesome! I bet my son would be into that too. I really need to round out their dress-up collection. We don't have knight or sword stuff.
