Last night we watched 2 movies. Peter Pan - it was wonderful. Really, really good. With such a loved story it's hard to see so many re-makes, but this one I love.
Love Actually. This movie was surprisingly good. Funny, sweet, very enjoyable.
Maybe I liked these movies so much because the previous two I saw were so bad. John Carpenter's Escape from New York & The Fog. Well, The Fog wasn't _that_ bad.
Dinner tonight - Meatloaf. The best meatloaf, in my opinion. I thing the secret is wrapping it in bacon and then cooking it - not for those times when you are counting calories. Also Garlic Fries from Trader Joes - almost exactly like the Garlic Fries we had in California, so a nice memory.
I spent some time attempting to crochet a box/container. Unfortunately the material I used (Jute) was a horrible choice - and the container is going in the trash. Jute appears to be far more suited for an outdoor rug. The book suggested doing this with heavy kitchen twine, but I've been to 3 grocery stores and none carry it in spools. I'm keeping my eyes open.
