Yup, I turned 30 today. No, I don't feel any older. I had my "crisis" in January. I think the thing about these "milestone" birthdays is you stop and add up what you have done and compare it to what you want to do. As long as you make some plans to accomplish the goals you want to accomplish - you're doing pretty good.
That brings us to step 3 - buying a house. It looks like we are going to go down this road - I'm _so_ excited about it. I realize there will be tremendous stress along the way (major move + a house?), but I think it'll put us closer to where we want to be.
Things to miss about Chicago... Our favorite Mexican restaurant, where the margaritas are amazing, the food is wonderful, and the free tequila shots with the staff are fun. I'll miss the people who work there.
It was really weird not having my sister here for my birthday - she's been here for the last (3?) years. I know she wishes she could have been, and we're sure to have many fun visits in the future.
