We got a counter-offer this evening which was pretty close to what we asked for (and really, better than we hoped). So we have accepted! We'll fill out all the necessary paperwork tomorrow and overnight it back - then the pressure starts - insurance, appraisal, survey, inspection, loan, title, etc, etc. (I think we're pretty prepared). Hopefully a certain employer will step up and get us some moving money. (But I won't get into that here - since I'm right and they suck) :)
I'm so excited and welcome the stress this summer will bring - in my mind's eye I'm already putting the carved jack-o-lanterns on the front porch, and roasting pumpkin seeds.
