It's an absolutely gorgeous 79 degrees right now, the lawn is covered in leaves and I have 3 pumpkins sitting in the car, waiting to get carved.
We came home to a porch littered with ladybug carcasses - they were even in the window screens. It appears "ladybug" season is here now and there are dozens upon dozens flying around outside the house and sitting on the siding. Apparently there is no natural predator to eat them, so we just have to wait for them to die.
The ride home was long - 12 and a half hours or so - we had to stop a few times for the cats to make sure they could use the facilities. It was no fun and the next trip in December will come too soon.
No Cedar Point for me this year - the weather conspired against me. I'll still try to get to Six Flags St. Louis this weekend, but it won't compare.

On such a beautiful day, it's time to spend some time on the porch.
