Oh joy! I woke up today to find the shelving in _my_ closet collapsed. All the clothes and whatever was on the shelf now litter the closet floor. The plan is to let them all lay on the futon for a little while.


Got take out Chinese for dinner - and met a couple of other neighbors while I was there. (That Element really stands out!) Very nice people.


On the other hand a certain neighbor girl was prowling around the front porch with her dog yesterday. She was surprised to see me and said she "didn't see a car, so was checking it out". (I don't think she meant to admit that - I just caught her off-guard). Checking what out, I wonder? Once she new I was there (and I came out on the porch to chit chat), she had nothing to say. Apparently I ruined it by being home. Of course, my first worry is she wanted to terrorize the cats. I really don't know what to think at this point. Thank goodness the kitties travel with us.


I saw a cute little rabbit hopping on the driveway this evening.


Happy Birthday to my Aunt - who isn't online, but will enjoy lasagna & carrot cake at my parent's tomorrow. (So Mom, pass it on, and yes, I sent a card :) )
