I decided to try to make a big change today, and I did. I went through the house and turned 19 light switches right side up. The ones with single switches weren't too bad, but the ones with 2 & 3 switches were some work - trying to line the up correctly again. Fortunately there was enough wire pulled down to make the turn.
At this point I have little doubt I could correct all the outlets (all also upside down) - it'll just take a lot of time. I'm pretty sure I can install GFCI outlets in the bathrooms as well. Maybe a couple of dimmer switches.... Lol. Now that's going a little far, but I'd really like to have the ceiling fans have 2 switches - one for the fan/one for the light - but none to at this time (and I believe it's a they do or the don't matter). Oh well, it's really nice to have this little bit of normal back.
The only real drawback was not have a good listing of "what is on which breaker" - so I just took the main one down - it'd be nicer not to have to do this with the fridge off :)
