esterday we had incredible weather, 60's and it even thunder-stormed. Today it turned cold again and we got quite a bit of snow. It's amusing how everytime it snows, the birds come and gorge themselves on the bird food. Forbid they run into any predators - the Cardinals are getting _fat_.

haven't been cooking anything weird or different - pot roast tonight, brats & saurkraut yesterday. I wanted to make fajitas, but the local Kroger doesn't carry flank or skirt steak - they claim it's too expensive and doesn't move. On the up side, they've put in organic chicken broth, organic milk, and have upped their organic produce. If they'd only carry free-range birds, I could cut down my distance in shopping trips. Ah well, trying not to complain ;)

Marc is now playing Neverwinter Nights and I think, enjoying it ;)

Since we got back from Christmas we've watched the first 3 seasons of Sopranos again, and plan to see the 4th this weekend. It'll be a hard wait for season 5 to be released (the only season we didn't originally see). Haven't seen Carnival out for rent yet - but really want to check it out. Blockbuster hasn't had exactly what we wanted the past visit so we started checking out the other local video shops (2 others). Got a membership at 1 - it's like walking into a weird time warp - practically everything is VHS, and they have some great older movies that I never see at Blockbuster. It reminds me a lot of Stop and Go (was that what it was called) in Toledo. After the Sopranos kick, I plan on renting every horror they have - of course they don't have the ones I really want to see - The Curse & Let's Scare Jessica To Death, but many that I haven't seen.

I've discovered, in the long run, it may be better to be a bit of a pack rat. I'm finding I threw out _way_ too much stuff I really wished I kept (and kept what I really wouldn't miss at all).

I do seriously need to filter through my clothes, though. I think I'm at the point that if I bought it in my teens - it should be gone. (there's only a couple in that category).

Gee, I really kinda miss Michigan these days... even Chicago. I feel like I'm living on a completely different planet here sometimes.
