Happy New Year...

2005 already? Well, 70 degrees yesterday and 65 the day before. We're getting back to normal now though, so I fully expect some real winter weather.


French Onion Soup for New Years Eve - turned out "ok" - the stock was great, but I didn't caramelize the onions enough. I did make a great potato & leek soup tonight which more than made up for it. I also made suet cakes for the birds with the skimmed fat from the beef stock, bacon fat, birdseed & peanuts.


I've been really addicted to Neverwinter Nights - in fact, finished the first expansion in a day, I'm ashamed to say. Time to do something else. Well, once Hordes of the Underdark is completed :)
