This week I'm completing the "To Do before Vacation" List. One of the items on this list was getting a hair cut, as it's been a few months. I went to a local salon last time, and the woman I got was very good. Unfortunately, she wasn't in yesterday, so I decided to take a chance with someone else from the same place.
Big, big mistake.
The hard part about pregnancy is being so damn emotional - and you really don't want to be because it's not especially good for the baby to be crying all day about the god-awful haircut you got.
Truly, awful. I've never had a haircut where I couldn't just take a shower, blow dry it and make it look fine. There is _nothing_ I can do with this. It's too short in the wrong spots, way too bulky in the wrong spots, and all of a sudden, I have "in-between stage" bangs. I haven't had bangs in a long time and don't want them.
So, I've made an appointment w/ an upscale salon and hoping they can do something with it.
On the brighter side, I picked up an exercise ball. The doula had brought one along for me to try out and I'm hooked. It's _really_ comfortable for sitting on as I get bigger, and makes it even easier to do pelvic tilts & circles.
