What is biting us?

I can't tell if I got bit last night or not. I don't see any new bites on Liam. Marc thinks he did get bit. Marc found this:

This describes an itch mite, a relatively new mite that can feed from Oak trees. I have some hope in this idea because we had moved our bed not too long before the bites began, next to the window with an Oak right outside it. It also seemed the bites eased up when we ran the AC and had the window closed. It may just be wishful thinking because I'm running out of ideas and how to fix it. I do know I am over stressed and over irritable :(
