These are from our trip to the Museum of Transportation. We had so much fun, especially Marc and Liam. They have many trains that you can walk around and into, as well as a small train to ride, and a cable car to ride. Liam spent the entire trip with big eyes and "More train!", "More train ride!". They also had a car museum which had some neat cars, which you'll see in the photos. This red one is the Bobby Darin Dream Car.

Sunday was our 5th wedding anniversary and we had a fun day. Why is it that Cold Stone Creamery tastes so much better in Michigan?
We got the chance to visit the Whittle Shortline Railroad store. They had a great, big train table that L loved playing with. When he saw their buses and mail trucks, he got SO excited. Liam got to bring home some fun stuff for an early birthday gift.
I see there are six new recalls since I looked last. Five out of six are for lead paint. One set of recalls are outdoor tools from Target - including a broom, rake and outside chair which I seriously considered picking up at the beginning of the summer. I'm so relieved now that I did not. How terrifying that the entire summer has gone by before these items were found dangerous.
I am most disappointed with the Guide craft Puppet Theater recall. More accurately, I am disappointed with Guidecraft. Their website logo is Guidecraft USA. which I think causes one to mistakenly believe their products are made in the USA. This is a $90 hardwood puppet theater. The have a statement of safety in their FAQ.
*Sigh*
Lastly, I'll pass on this link to an interesting little article about Sleeping with Baby.
