Not a great picture, but I'm sure you can see what is going on here. Fortunately we have washable crayons, so it comes right off. I did clean this up shortly after it happened, but since he has done it again, and I kinda like the way it looks.
What have we been doing? Liam has been sipping tea. Fruity tea, herbal tea, of course! At this month's parenting meeting there was a suggestion for making Popsicles with chamomile tea for calming children before bed. I instantly saw how great this idea was - to give L something he LOVES, without sugar to clean up! (The majority of any popsicle ends up on he floor and on him). He likes them, and now wants to drink tea whenever I make it, and often when I don't. I picked up a fruit sampler for us to drink. He'll have about a tablespoon at a time and still drinks mainly water, so I'm ok with that.
We are so excited for his birthday coming up on Saturday! I can't believe it has been 2 years already. We look back at pictures from his first week on earth and marvel over how tiny he was.
It is often hard to come up with blog updates - I feel like I'm just going on and on about how wonderful my child is, and who wants to listen to that? Oh yea, family probably does! The other problem is I have a hard time remembering what I've already written.
We recently picked up Green Eggs and Ham. Dr. Suess is a big favorite around here now. Dinosaur Bob, Skippy Jon Jones & Peter Rabbit are the other often requested books.
There are a few new pictures, the above, another similar to that, and one in September, of Liam the baby burrito (ie. wrapped in a towel).
