I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and stuffy head and nose. I felt pretty crappy this morning too so we "took it easy" today. We made a really big orange and black paper chain, which looks cool and is really fun to run around with, yelling "Halloween! Halloween!", or so Liam thinks. We also colored faces & jack o' lanterns on paper plates and hung them up in the windows for Halloween decorations.

I was inspired by my Mom to pull out the crock pot and I put some veggies and a roast in there this morning. I should be able to make gravy and be done. I need to try to do this more often, because our most difficult times are when I'm trying to make dinner.

Yesterday we made another trip to the park because it was such a beautiful day, and I knew the fresh air would be good for both of us. Liam loves to swing and sing. He requests Wheels on the Bus the most, and joins in here and there.
