We had an exciting past week, with Marc having his last day of work, a Thanksgiving playdate for Liam and Thanksgiving itself. At the last minute we decided to skip the stress and work and do steak & potatoes for dinner. Add garlic beens beans and a pumpkin pie Liam and I made and it was perfect. We also made whipped cream which L licked right of the beaters.
We made chex mix on Friday to celebrate the season. I promised myself long ago I would never buy a pre-made bag of chex mix again. Liam and I made banana bread to use up our "going" bananas and as a fun activity for him. I also set him up with a dish of flour, some water to spoon, salt and baking soda to mix and make a mess of.
The previous week my brother and is girlfriend came for a visit and to relieve us of a vehicle. We all had a good time and Liam is still talking about his Uncle Jimmy (and Sarah!).
Many of these things are in photo form is a very updated November 2007. There is also some pictures of the "mailbox" we "made" for Liam.
Yesterday was Marc's first day of working from home and it was fantastic. Liam and I had a bunch of fun making paper chains and snowflakes, the latter I'll eventually have pictures of.
Here Liam is running around in his winter coat after we unpcked it from the winter clothes. As you can see, it fits even better this year!
