I hope all the Mamas I know had a fabulous Mother's Day!

I had a great day, waking up next to my sweet son, who presented me with a homemade card (my first homemade Mother's Day card!). I asked him what he wanted for breakfast and he said waffles, so we made them together. This just happens to be day two for waffles for me. I've discovered how amazing throwing frozen berries in a pan, cooking and mashing bit and throwing in a bit of honey can taste on waffles.

We had a pleasant morning at home, went out for a great lunch at the local Italian restaurant (the special was Roasted Garlic Chicken Penne). We then hung out at the park for awhile, getting some fresh air for all, lots of swinging and climbing for L and a bunch of walking for me. We came home and M and L watched Happy Feet while I took a nap... my effort at staying as well rested as possible.

Yesterday we had our prenatal, all is well. I had back achiness and crampiness throughout the day, which picked up a bit after we got home not long after 5:30 pm. We grilled hamburgers and I started needing to breath through the intense sensation I was feeling. After a glass of wine (a bottle of our fantastic Christmas Chianti), we lay down for stories and sleep and I woke up this morning, still pregnant as ever :)
