2 weeks, 2 days

Our loan commitment went through, so the house appraised for enough. We'll find out how much at closing. We happily found out that there were some waterproofing measures taken during construction. We are still waiting on the new water test results before officially accepting, but things are looking good. We plan on getting a water filter installed ASAP, and getting the right one (reverse osmosis), will protect us, if more steps are needed to improve the water conditions. (If the water is still contaminated, the can but a filter at the well. We won't be there for the final walk through, but I am having the home re-inspected to check the repairs and the heating/cooling a couple days before we move.

I'm excited, but nervous, and time is ticking so loudly I can barely pack. I don't want to have to do this again anytime soon (read 30 years).

Food, I haven't posted much about food lately :) Last night we grilled beef kebabs, which were pretty good, but my favorite this week was chicken and dumplings.
