Watermelon in October:

Believe it! We got this in our CSA a couple of weeks ago. They knew a farmer who still had watermelons so we are enjoying this. We had some fresh and I've been making "smoothie pops". Part orange juice, part Plain yogurt and as much watermelon as looks good. Freeze in popsicle molds. Tastes better than it sounds :)
We visited a pumkin patch this weekend. It wasn't too far and we had a lot of fun (especially me). I love the whole Halloween/pumpkin patch atmosphere. We got to ride in a horse drawn cart through part of the farm field and look at the adorable black angus. We picked out our carving pumpkins, and L picked the biggest of all. We're planning to carve tomorrow night. I grabbed a couple of pie pumpkins and tried a recipe with one that included layering toasted bread and swiss cheese followed by lots of cream. This is baked in the pumpkin for a couple of hours and then you eat it, scraping some of the pumpkin out with each scoop. I should have remembered that I hate soggy bread before I went to the trouble.
It's blurry, but that's better than nothing I hope.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant now and broke down and picked up 2 pairs of maternity jeans at the local consignment shop for cheap. I didn't need to go maternity shopping until week 19 or 20 last time around, but I don't really mind.
For those of doubting my hugeness the first time around, here is a shot of me at the end of my first pregnancy:
